Heart-to-heart
Spiritual Care
reFocus Today Ministry has grown from providing chaplain services to San Antonio’s first responders to also serving business owners, athletes and the general public. Whether it’s roll call with first responders, a noontime Bible study at a local business, or a six-minute devotional with players before a game, Betsy and our team of chaplains are eager to administer personal heart-to-heart spiritual care.

In Loving Memory of Our Founder
Betsy Buhler served as Chaplain at Community Bible Church in San Antonio, Texas, and provided behind-the-scenes chaplaincy work in the city for 20 years. In 2006, after working with first responders in the city to coordinate large funerals for first responders killed in the line of duty, she received an invitation to be a chaplain to the San Antonio Police Department. In 2013, she started reFocus Today Ministry, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The mission of this ministry is to serve in places where chaplains are needed: businesses, colleges, professional sports teams, first responders, hospitals, and the community. In other words, to go where Jesus would go.
Betsy’s desire was to build a chaplain team to support people in times of sorrow, joy, and everything in between, and her legacy continues. reFocus Today Ministry extends a listening ear and a solid truth rooted in God’s Word to provide an unwavering light for those who need help and encouragement.
